Something of what I think (1)

Good morning... a drizzling morning.   Today is Friday and time pass fast. Without realizing, I am back to my old office for 16 days, the office  where I spent for the first 7 working years before I got transferred out for to other station and then start my endless moving on journey until 15 February.  It is glad to see everyone in the office and I am very thankful that I can back to my hometown and old place.  
Even， there are some happening and unhappy session happened almost everyday, but I am still feel thankful enough for coming back.

Clay pot Noodles

It was one heavy rain morning, when I was on the way to work, I felt in need something hot to start my day.  I was not sure what I needed to have beside hot choco drinks.  When I passed by a shop where I almost pass by everyday on the way to my work place, I decided to have a stop and a hot clay pot noodles soup to start my day. 

The clay pot noodle soup did not taste nice.  I had it just because I needed something hot in the cold and raining morning.  For me, the noodle taste like chewing gum and the soup was too concentrate and too salty.

This was the sour spicy soup to end a day of busy work.  It was also a heavy raining evening.  At first, I did not think I wish to have anything as my dinner as what I usually not having anything as dinner for the past few week or whenever I feel I do not like to eat, just rest my mind after a day of work.  May be this was because of raining day, I felt in need something hot.  I ordered hot soup, century toufu and plain white rice as my dinner.  I finished all of them and went home.

None stop coughing since last two weeks.  I refused to take any medicine to let it recover fast because whenever I get sick again in short time, it will be very difficult for me to recover fast and need more doses of medicine to cure it.  Yesterday, I decided to have this.  It works, today I am feel much more better.

Nice to look right?  It is nice to eat too.  I like it pretty much.  May be inside there have a lot of ginger or just because I was too hungry?  I was not sure too... just have it and end of my day after get my hair done yesterday.

Today is 1st day of 2012.  What do you going to have as breakfast, lunch and dinner?

I am still alone today, no one to hangout with.  After I went to airport to double check with my ticket, I decided to have lunch at shop nearby the Kuching International Airport and the food is just nice.

A Walk Through Sibu Central Market

I cannot remember when was the last time I visited Sibu Central Market.  May be it was 2 years ago.  Thank you for my beloved Google+ friends organizing a gathering while I am traveling to Kuala Lumpur for official matter.  I am looking for some local and traditional stuffs to share with them.  I manage to get some but not all for them, unfortunately most the stuff I get to share with them are local Chinese made kuih/roti.  I managed to bring part for them and hope them will not mind it.  Sorry for those muslim Google+ friend, but do not be too disappointed.  I managed to get some packets of tabaloi for you too.  

Sibu is my hometown.  I born and raised up here.  It is the third large town in Sibu after Kuching and Miri.  The population in Sibu dominated by Chinese with majority of Foochow as well as Iban, Melanau and Malay.  

The Sibu Central Market is the biggest indoor market in Sarawak and Malaysia.  It is boasting nearly  1,000 hawkers on weekdays and an additional about 500 stalls on weekend. Its sales everything from fresh vegetables, fruits, food to live poultry.  

There is one time, I told one of my friend who was planning coming to Sibu for a visit few years back that if you have not visit the Sibu Central Market as if you not come to Sarawak because the market is  epitome and reflection of meet of culture and races in Sarawak, sharing business under one roof and now it is the best reflection which meets the slogan of 1 Malaysia.

I am not know what is this fruit called.  I only know it is an eatable fruit with sweet and sour taste.  The dried up fruit peel can be one of the ingredient for steam fish and giving the sour taste to the fish.

Locally called it as ikan tenggiri long.  Some Chinese call it as Mui Hiong. 

This is the best part of the stall selling dried stuff of dried fish, salted fish and even smoked fish and shrimps.

Very Meaningful and Unforgettable Rushing Week

Finally I can have a short rest after a week rushing here and there then resume working tomorrow and for sure I will face a lot of music tomorrow as I just get off from my office without informing them as I do not know who and whose to contacted with. The week before last week I had continuously diarrhea for about a week and dragged till today. Due to tense and rush from last week where my family and I busy for my late grandmother funeral, then rushed back to Kuching for my sister graduation day arrangement. 
Last Saturday I was having terrible time that I have rushed to see doctor after picked my parents from airport where they came for my sister's graduation ceremony yesterday. With the tired and weak body due to high fever over the night, I drove all the way to Unimas, Kota Samarahan and back to Kuching town after attending my dearest sister graduation ceremony. Sure we brought them to some places for sight seeing and short visiting for my mum's elder sister. 
Today after breakfast at hotel, we rushed to studio, taken some photographs to make the trip prefect. Then my sister has two set of graduation family portrait. She is very happy for her trip and her ceremony because she chooses the bear for graduation herself, she arranged the program to bring our parents for sight seeing and dinner with closest family member. 
I think this is a fruitful trip for my sister and my parents.
